So many of my posts are about my kids. Let’s face it: they are a source of endless content.

But the most important person in my life next to Jesus is my wife, Jennifer. My bride. My best friend. My second Holy Spirit. My inspiration when I’m at my lowest, and my checks and balances when I’m aloft. I would be dead without her.

And as I was taking some pictures of her this morning to capture the last few weeks of her pregnancy, I was once again spellbound by her beauty, and awestruck at exactly how and why the Lord gave me such a perfect gift.

I love you, Jenny Lee. ch:

Thanks brother. Means the world, as you have all those same attributes listed to your household. We are blessed men.

      Christian Fahey · 23 Jul ’11 at 9:45 am

      Indeed, bro, indeed!

Enid · 23 Jul ’11 at 9:34 am

I see her at the pool quite often and on top of all the things you’ve said about her I have to add to it. From an outsider’s perspective she is an awesome mother.I say as an outsider’s because she doesn’t know who I am and I only know who she is from your family pics. But it is lovely to see a mom who genuinely enjoys her children instead of one that is constantly annoyed with them. Blessings on your beautiful family and the soon to be newest addition.

    Christopher Hopper · 23 Jul ’11 at 9:38 am

Wow, Enid. This is incredible. Thank you for even taking the time in writing this; you just blessed us both. That’s the prayer of our lives, that to even those watching, we would be a testimony of Christ’s love.

      Enid · 23 Jul ’11 at 12:10 pm

That is also the prayer of my life.I pray that my actions will speak volumes so that when I do have the oppurtunity to talk to people about the love of Christ they will see by my life that reflection of the living and loving Father.I honesty wasn’t just putting up false flattery, I see too often those who foist their children on others in pursuit of their own “happiness” or “me” time and it always does my heart good to see someone enjoy the time spent with their children.Blessings!

        Christopher Hopper · 23 Jul ’11 at 7:50 pm

We understand. (And didn’t think it was false flattery). Living selflessly I think can only truly come from the heart of the Father as its very contrary to our fleshly nature. Especially when seen in context of raising kids. I can truly say my children have made me more Christ-like, mostly because of drawing out the crap in me that really needs to be conformed to His image, not my own.

Thank you so much for this message, this is SO kind! And please next time you see us introduce yourself!

      Enid · 23 Jul ’11 at 12:06 pm

will do. I’m there alot with my son and the 2 children I babysit. The pool is our on respite in this heat and it helps with cranky attitudes too.I have thought about introducing myself but then I become self-conscious and shy. You have no idea what you’re going to be getting yourself in for when you do meet me. Once I know someone all shyness goes away, far-far away. Have a wonderful weekend

        Christopher Hopper · 23 Jul ’11 at 7:48 pm

Ha ha, well, at least you’ve warned us now. 😉 Look forward to it!

I believe the family is a microcosim of the Kimgdom. That being said, what I know of you and your different expressions leads me to believe you have a wonderful Kingdom family. We are here to establish the Kingdom and you guys are doing a fine job. Be blessed!

    Christopher Hopper · 23 Jul ’11 at 10:35 am

Man, thanks so much, Scott. That indeed is our heart, and the fact that you see it means a lot. All feelings mutual with you and your cyber reputation. Blessings bro!

Usually I think this stuff is too mushy & don’t like reading it. However, you 2 have the kind of marriage I want & it’s inspiring to read this. I can only hope that my marriage can be as loving as yours.
I can’t thank God enough foe bringing you 2 together to inspire, encourage & affect the world!

Love you both!
