To all our faithful Elves,

Thank you for your patience, kindness and encouragement. You have journeyed near and far with us, to lands both familiar and foreign. And now the day has come. The Tide of Unmaking is here. And we have both Ellos and you to thank for it.

It was our firm intent to release the book on the 15th as promoted, but our files were approved early. And how fitting that it’s on September 11th – which makes our mantra all-the-more-fitting…

Endurance and Victory!

Yay! I’m cured from my EED! It’s gone!I’m cured! I’m *explodes*

Oh. Apparently not.

But if TTOU is out, who cares if they have EED?

*explodes and reforms*

Jag Swiftstorm · 11 Sep ’12 at 10:04 pm

Just wondering, how much is postage to NZ?

    Christopher Hopper · 11 Sep ’12 at 10:48 pm

Of you could find a reason for me to fly there, free! 😉 Slightly jealous. On my top 5 countries to visit, but never been.

In all seriousness, if you move far enough along through check out, it should tell you before you actually purchase.

    Jag Swiftstorm · 11 Sep ’12 at 10:55 pm

Okay, thanks. I didn’t actually have much to do with choosing to live in NZ… (actually, I didn’t have anything to do with it :P)

    Jag Swiftstorm · 12 Sep ’12 at 5:20 pm

Actually, I know. Keep writing, and eventually someone will want to make a movie of the Berinfell Prophecies (better sooner than later!), and then you’ll obviously have to come to NZ then, since the Allyra parts will obviously be filmed in NZ 😛

Wayne Thomas Batson · 11 Sep ’12 at 11:08 pm

Okay, Jag
I concur with CH. And we agree to come to New Zealand for a huge booksigning event. You just need to rally the fantasy-reading-Kiwi-folk to purchase our air fare and housing…and I think I can say, WE WILL BE THERE. 😉

Scarlet Raptor · 12 Sep ’12 at 2:52 am

“gulp, here it goes again-again-agia-”
“Oh dear another hole”

    Christopher Hopper · 12 Sep ’12 at 6:32 am

We’ll clean it up. No worries.

    Scarlet Raptor · 12 Sep ’12 at 4:19 pm

    Thank you! BOOOMM!

    “Another one. Sorry”

Scarlet Raptor · 12 Sep ’12 at 2:53 am

Please come to NZ. PLEASE!!!

    Christopher Hopper · 12 Sep ’12 at 6:33 am

    That would be amazing.

    Andy · 12 Sep ’12 at 11:41 am

    Hyperlinkzer · 14 Sep ’12 at 10:31 pm

    Taisia · 12 Sep ’12 at 9:17 pm

By the bye…will you be writing another series together?

    Taisia · 12 Sep ’12 at 9:20 pm

Oh! And will the Tide of Unmaking be available on

      Christopher Hopper · 13 Sep ’12 at 8:56 am

Yes, it should (if not already). Did you check?

    Taisia · 13 Sep ’12 at 1:14 pm

Yes. I just checked again and it’s still not there 😛

      Christopher Hopper · 13 Sep ’12 at 1:54 pm

Hmmm, not sure how that all works. You should be able to order the physical book through the CreateSpace link just fine; I’ve had friends in the UK buy it off there before it was available on their country’s Amazon.

    Taisia · 13 Sep ’12 at 1:15 pm

Hmm…that’s interesting…I didn’t mean for the face to look happy. lol Maybe it’s trying to make me feel better 😀

Tyler D · 13 Sep ’12 at 11:39 pm

Ohmigosh! Just finsihed and might I say, did you gys really do what I think you did? You gave *explodes* Oh dear. Maybe I’ll e-mail you later

Rob · 14 Sep ’12 at 10:31 am

Wow! I am so excited! you authors are awesome!

Belac · 14 Sep ’12 at 6:56 pm

I hear that there is a collector’s edition coming out that’s hard cover! Is that true? If so when does it come out???

dracowriter99 · 15 Sep ’12 at 11:42 pm

I just got the book. I love it so far. Is there going to be a hardback? I would also like to throw an idea. Movies of the series. That would be epic.

    Christopher Hopper · 16 Sep ’12 at 4:28 am

    Movies would be awesome. 🙂

We’re investigating a hard cover collectors edition presently. I’ll post updates as I have information.

Lochlan Stormgarden · 19 Nov ’12 at 11:08 pm

This book sucks goat nuts

Marc · 26 Nov ’12 at 2:42 pm

Christoper, It has been over 2 months. Any update on the hard cover collectors edition. Our other books in this series are hard cover and I want to keep that the same for my son. This would make an awesome Christmas present. In our family, it has always been the elves that send books for Christmas so this would so fit in with that.

    Christopher Hopper · 3 Dec ’12 at 10:07 pm

    Hi Marc,

Thanks for the question; sorry for the delay. Gotta’ love those Christmas Elves.

I haven’t checked in with the Elves of the Underground for a few weeks to see what the total “pre-order” count is yet, but that number is what would justify what kind of money we’d need to front for this potential endeavor. Will keep you posted; don’t hesitate to ask again if you don’t hear from me.

    Jag Swiftstorm · 3 Dec ’12 at 10:14 pm

It’s at 75 at the moment.

      Christopher Hopper · 4 Dec ’12 at 7:05 am

      Hey Jag! Thanks for this.

I’ll touch base with my vendor and see what price point that would put us at.

Terry Ricklefs · 21 Feb ’13 at 1:56 pm

Hi Christopher, my novella “A Little Child Shall Lead Them” has just been edited and this project has just been approved as my Final Project for Thomas Edison State College. I may be contacting you soon about where you got your book published. I have been contacted myself by several, but have not made a final decision as to a publisher yet. In Christ, Terry

    Christopher Hopper · 21 Feb ’13 at 10:08 pm

Hi Terry. Congrats! That’s awesome. I have a $.99 ebook on Kindle called Handbook to Publishing Your Novel about the process I use to publish my books now. I’ve since finished my contracts with Tsaba House Inc. and Thomas Nelson Publishing and have gone completely self-published for reason I outline in the book, with no plans on returning to traditional publishing as it’s out dated.

If you don’t have a Kindle app on your computer or mobile device, you can read all the blog posts that the book came from here.

SnowWarp · 6 Mar ’13 at 3:12 pm

I hope this is like “The door within” books ive read them like 10 times!!!

    Christopher Hopper · 6 Mar ’13 at 5:55 pm

Pretty close! We think you’ll like ’em. 🙂

Lord Felheart · 13 Jun ’13 at 5:02 am

PLEASE Mr.Hopper and Mr. Batson give an update on the hardcover. ive looked everywhere and I can’t find it online!!! my other two books are hardcover so i really want this one to be. And a movie would be AWESOME!!

    Christopher Hopper · 13 Jun ’13 at 7:20 am

Thanks for the enthusiastic comment! Love your passion. Sadly, last we checked the interest simply wasn’t there. The Elves on The Underground took some polls, hoping to generate the needed 500 minimum orders, but I don’t think we got there. Maybe check in with them and see where it’s at if you have time.

Lord Felheart · 13 Jun ’13 at 5:02 am

btw you should come to Aus

    Christopher Hopper · 13 Jun ’13 at 7:20 am

It’s one of my lifelong dreams. Lord-willing, one day I will.

Gene · 16 Jun ’13 at 5:01 pm

I sad that there is no hard cover to match the others in the series… disappointing…

    Christopher Hopper · 17 Jun ’13 at 9:13 am

Sorry, Gene. Publisher didn’t want to make one, and there hasn’t been enough interest from fans to rally the necessary costs. But thanks for reading.

J-hawk · 4 Aug ’13 at 11:49 pm

It makes me so sad to see there isn’t a hardback to match the other two that I have collected!????

    Christopher Hopper · 5 Aug ’13 at 8:15 am

@J-Hawk: As we’ve mentioned, we haven’t gotten enough interest from readers willing to order a hardcover edition (via The Underground). Set up costs are expensive. But we might start a Kickstarter campaign to give it one more try.

    Hope you enjoyed the story.

J-hawk · 5 Aug ’13 at 8:57 pm

Couldn’t have enjoyed the series more!
