Getting Peed On

While flying to Michigan last night I heard a lot of complaining.

The weather was bad.

Flights got canceled.

I experienced my first aborted landing.

People had to wait in line.

Lots of passengers missed flights.

And everyone blamed the flight attendant for the pent up negative experiences of their entire lives.

But you know who wasn’t complaining?

The men’s urinals.

Some of the people I admire most are those who have every right to complain but never do, happy to serve people who’s needs they consider more important than their own. ch:

Love this statement. “Some of the people I admire most are those who have every right to complain but never do, happy to serve people who’s needs they consider more important than their own.”
Be careful hanging around cronic complainers, they like to bring you down with them. Sometimes there are times to complain, pick your complaints carefully and think before you complain, someone always has more of a reason to complain. I am always working being better at this.

This pic would surprise me on most blogs, but yours.. It seems natural for you to post about this. 😉

Back in the day I would so freak out, complain, scream about getting peed on….but it’s amazing the work the Lord does in your heart when you become a wife/mom…..I’ve learned there’s no reason to sweat the small stuff…just laugh and consider it a memory made! Timing on this for me was great…just yesterday Demos decided to pull some surprises out of his diaper and throw it on the floor and smear it on his bed….special….and my former self would have freaked out and been mad but all I could do was laugh. I soooo used to be a big complainer…the Lord has shown me just how much I don’t have to complain about….so I consider it a “making memory process” :o)

And I must second Beth’s comment about on most blogs this pic would surprise her…but on yours it’s not a shock at all….one of the many reasons I love you Christopher…you’re SO open!!

I also can say that a reason so many love you and your lovely Jenny is because you don’t complain and you love/live/act like Jesus…so for being the amazing examples and blessings you are in my life and so many others THANK YOU!!!!

    • I’m not so sure I don’t complain, but I’ll take the encouragement to heart.

you’re an incredible mom. And yes, becoming a parent certainly numbs you to past reactionary tendencies as a youth. Totally agree.

I think we all complain at some points and I think it all depends when/where/how you do it and in my years of knowing you you handle that quite well…knowing when/where/how to do/say things whether in regards to complaining or any other situation.
