I’m very excited to be speaking at New Life today. It’s my home church, and therefore where I’m most comfortable sharing.

But I also have the honor to kick off the new “Refresh” series. With greats like Michael Tyrrell, Randy Schum, and Kirk Gilchrist in the lineup, it’s a privilege to be first at bat. (Lord willing, I get on base).

The message is all about finding refreshment in the midst of living life. Granted, I love the beach – and the ocean – almost more than anything. But if my infrequent vacations there are my only source of refreshment, how can I possibly expect to survive?

Which leads to one serious question: how do we as human beings get refreshed?

Would love your thoughts. You can catch mine on New Life’s iCampus at newlifenny.com. If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can watch herech:

Aye. In church today, we were talking about being not only filled with the Holy Spirit, but being refilled constantly; and that when refilled, life becomes fresh and new to us again.

One of my heroes (or heroines) in the faith, Elizabeth Austin, always said, “I asked for a fresh baptism of the Holy Ghost every morning.” Considering her legacy of preaching in every nation in the world and living in the bush of Africa for months on end, I think she knew what she was talking about. Right on, Glade!

Awesome message. God knew I had to be there to hear it this morning. He made it possible. Going into a crazy insanely busy week, with a heart open to what He has a head.
His voice refreshes everything & concures stress.
Thanks for listening & obeying the Father’s voice & sharing that message.
