Toothless

If I told you someone was missing teeth, what’s the first thought that comes to your mind?

I know what comes to mine.

That person is a boxer, a hockey player, or a drunk. Or they’re old.

But what if I told you the person was 6?

Sometimes we mistake people’s lack as weakness, or even worse: failure. But I’m pretty convinced God sees it as room for something better to grow in. ch:

So true. We all lack something, not one person has everything. We are gifted in the ways He made us. Yet, we compare ourselves with others & don’t appreciate the gifts we have.
I’ve been watching a show that deals with the deaf culture & those of us who can hear take it for granted. We don’t all know one of the most beautiful languages God created…sign language. If someone is lacking is one of the five senses it only makes the others stronger.
Ok, that’s my random response to this at 230am. Girls night..I shouldn’t still be awake. Haha

    • Gotta’ love 2:30am responses! Priceless! But really good thoughts, though.

  • Sometimes I think, “maybe they play soccer with people from Tully?”
