Oops!

Just the other day @jasonjclement and I were sharing a few of our tech “oops!”

We all have them. You know the kind.

How about when you forgot you placed your iPhone between your legs while driving, so when you got out of the car at a rest stop the iPhone went flying face down across the pavement? Oops! Or how about that holiday family gathering when your laptop got covered up by a blanket on the couch and Aunt Bertha sat down, crushing your MacBook Pro with all of her 356-lbs of sheer love? Oops!

So what’s your worst tech oops? ch:

  • Cathy Zoll

Does looking up police in uniforms for a school project and ending up on a gay porn site count as an oops?

  • JoshC

It’s probably not my worst “oops!”, but I once got so engrossed in programming the intelligent lights (with the house lights off) at church, that I forgot I had the hazer on the whole time. When the fire alarm went off, I turned on the sanctuary lights to find that the entire sanctuary was filled with a thick smoky haze. Oops!

After owning a nice little android phone that decided constantly to re-boot, turn on camera by itself etc etc Hubby dropped it ( accidently) FACE DOWN on our garage floor – result were a) a crack in the screen ( very small) and b) a super working phone without any issues however
for me, i got me another nicer android phone with froyo update lol

the other one was trying to upgrade processor and forgot to GROUND MYSELF and fry the whole mobo incl. case ….

    • Don’t you just hate dropping things? Bummer. But new phones are good, too! And grounding…ugh…that can be a nightmare! I mean, how often do we really think about that?

      • Tanja

it was a bummer FIRST but hey it worked better after it had a crack, kind of like us humans! lol

GROUNDING, yes nightmare its like we dont THINK about it to do so when we a fix Computer or try to fix our own LIFE ____ aaaahhh, this is tickling my brain
you could make a sermon on this..XD

    1) dropped my iPhone in the toilet
    2) Dropped my iPhone face down on gravel parking lot when hopping out of my truck.

I dropped my iPod while getting in my car and somehow ended up closing it in my car door. It has a lot of scratches but in the end still works and no broken bones.

  • I have a big “OOPS” pretty much everyday. Too many to count lol.

I remember talking to a lady at an event and thought I saw a hair on her face. I went to brush it off her cheek and she quickly says “It’s attached”. Like she was very aware and proud of her exceedingly long hair. Note: I was 8 years old at the time, but I still remember my face flushing and scampering off as soon as she said that.

  • Why would you want to keep that on your face?!
