Monday Tunes: Jonny Lang

jonny lang live

jonny_lang_taI was just saying to my wife that there are very few albums which I love every song of, and play it start to finish without a single cringe. Jonny Lang‘s “Turn Around” is one of those. For some reason his CD never made it into any of our Macs, and had itself been missing for months, when Jenny unearthed in a recent holiday-cleaning-spree over the weekend. My Monday day-off is now jamming. Who are you listening to? ch:

  • Well at the moment I’m listening to the song you sang at the Curse of the Spider King Barnes & Noble event on the 31st. It’s currently playing in my head.

As for actually listening it’s silence. If I wasn’t enjoying headtunes so much at the moment I’d put something on.

Am listening to a playlist that has Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, FM Static, and others. All are rock bands, but am listening to their power ballads, very good songs.

  • John

Hey man I am listening to two bands that are bloeing me away and I wanted to give you. The first, and my favorite is “I and Love and You” – By the Avett Brothers. and the next is “Furr” by Blitzen Trapper. I bet Luke told you about them but they are so good!

  • Shane: I do hope to finally put that song up online this week…that way you don’t have to listen to it in your head!
Beth: We finished Lang up and cranked the Christmas tunes again, too!
Rachel: Imagine a band that played all of those styles!
Mooney: OK, OK…doubled standard availed; I will no longer respond to you in personal email. But it was only after your email that I understood you were listening to audio books. lol
Billy: Good bands indeed! Power ballads rock! (pun-intended)
John: Oooo…you know I love your tunes. Can’t wait to check them out!
    Thanks for commenting everyone! ch:
