Happy Thanksgiving…

Good morning everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving! If you’re reading this, you really should get back to being with your family (as I’m about to do). But wait! Leave a comment and let me know what you’re up to! I’m about to take a shower and then…[drum roll]…proceeded with the highly anticipated event (at least in my mind) of conducting my first fried turkey cookout! Will post pics later if I’m still alive. Family from all over the state (and both sides of our clans) are (and have) arrived for this momentous occasion (well, for Thanksgiving, but for the fired turkey, too!).

Blessings! I’m so thankful for you all, and for the Lord of the Harvest…

…may many souls be brought into the Kingdom in the coming months.

  • I’m heading over to my Aunt’s house most likely. If I don’t I’ll be home enjoying tacos.

We are watching the Macy’s parade and are enjoying being home together! Happy Thanksgiving Hoppers! Love Ya.

  • I’m getting ready to head over to my parents with my brood. There we will likely engage in gluttonous behavior (my mom makes the world’s greatest stuffing–sausage and almonds–mmmmm); then, we all sit in big comfy chairs and listen to the whale noises (ask me sometime). Finally, my brothers and all the guys go to the local middle school field and throw the football around.

    Never alone.

  • Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

I am at home with my own family, snowed in. We are expecting friends later today if they can get here through this weather. In the meantime, most of the food is ready but since we are the only ones here, we’re going to relax for a bit and wait to see if anyone else can make it.

As for me, I am currently heading outside into our little winter wonderland, to ride my horse! Bareback riding in the snow is so much fun (I took my mare out at 9:30pm last night in this bright white stuff – AMAZING!).

Enjoy your day Hoppers! Love y’all!

  • Very cool everyone! Thanks for sharing.

I’m getting ready to put my new turkey fryer to the test and heat up the peanut oil to 350-degrees! I’ve used two special marinades and Emmeril’s Rub. I’m salivating just writing this!

    Blessings!

  • Happy Thanksgiving, Christopher and Jenny, to you, your little ones and your extended family. Thanks for looking after our girls and enjoy the day.

  • Happy Thanksgiving Hopper family. I hope you all have a wonderful day, filled with love and laughter. Today I am going to eat delicious food prepared by a great cook (my mom) then go out to the movies along with some good friends ( it’s a tradition we do every year) and last, but not least come back home and eat some yummy desserts.
    Bye For Now,

  • Happy Thanksgiving, C.

God bless you and your clan.
